NOTF Board of Directors

The NOTF Board is the decision-making, governing body for the NOTF, Inc. and the National Oldtime Fiddlers’ Contest and Festival.

Bruce Campbell

Serving Since 1978

Bruce has been serving on the Board since 1978 and now serves in an advisory capacity, along with his wife Cindy. He is a long-time Weiser resident and a retired high school teacher. Bruce serves as the Board Chair and local golf expert (he gives great free advice). Bruce’s motivation to serve on the Board is his love for the people he has gotten to know over the years.

Cindy Campbell

Serving Since 1978

Cindy has served on the Board since 1978, and now serves in an advisory capacity, along with her husband, Bruce. She is a long-term Weiser resident and a retired school teacher, school Principal and Curriculum Director in Weiser, Idaho. Cindy’s motivation to serve on the Board is her dear friendships she has built over the years.

Gary Schuh

Serving Since 2017

Gary was born and raised in the Spokane, Washington area. He has been attending the National Oldtime Fiddlers’ Contest and Festival since 1987, when he was invited to travel with his fiddle teacher, JayDean Ludiker. He is a school teacher in Portland, Oregon. Gary’s motivation to serve on the Board is his fond childhood memories from attending Weiser, participating in the contest, and the resulting lifelong friendships.

JayDean Ludiker

Serving Since 2020

JayDean is from Spokane, Washington where she is a fiddle teacher and runs her music instruction studio. She also runs children’s and adult fiddle performance groups. JayDean is a 4th-generation fiddler, and is a life-long attendee of the National Oldtime Fiddlers’ Contest and Festival.

Bobbie Pearce

Serving Since 2020

Bobbie is a fiddle teacher in the Nampa, Idaho area where she runs her music instruction studio and coordinates the Junior Jammers fiddle group. Bobbie has been a long-time attendee of the National Oldtime Fiddlers’ Contest and Festival.

Gary Hill

Serving Since 2023

Gary Hill serves alongside his wife, Joya, and is a lifelong resident of Weiser, Idaho. Gary is a retired corrections officer who now enjoys maintaining the Weiser Golf course, and is passionate about the NOTFC from as far back as his childhood years.

Joya Hill

Serving Since 2023

Joya Hill serves alongside her husband, Gary, and is a lifelong resident of Weiser, Idaho. She is a retired school teacher, having had a career in Weiser School District.

Carla Fewkes

Serving Since 2025

Our newest board member, Carla, is a resident of Boise, Idaho. She is retired from working in communications and has been involved in fiddling for many years.
