JayDean Ludiker – Spokane, WA

JayDean Ludiker fell in love with fiddle music as a young girl after hearing her father play at their Spokane Valley home. He took her to contests all over the country and watched her become National Junior Champion at the age 17 and National Ladies winner the following year. JayDean has since focused her energy towards teaching the art of old time fiddling, running her instrument rental business, and publishing instruction materials through her company Ludiker Music. She organizes children’s performing groups, judges fiddle contests, and teaches at fiddle camps all over the country.

Philosophy:
Intonation is super important while playing twin fiddle tunes. If one person is out of tune, it makes both notes sound bad. I enjoy hearing tunes played at the speed and in the style they were intended. I love twin fiddle music. What could be better than one fiddle? Two!
